Rotation in this direction neither pushes nor pulls the air
The men and women live in a giant underground bunker with few rules that they believe exist to protect them from the toxic and broken world on the surface. Whether they’re exploring stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world better, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” — there are 82 chapters in the book. The fans on the floor in different episodes rotate in the wrong direction relative to the orientation of the blades.
My first review!
Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Binge (2023). I read the Hughes trilogy many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the books. When I happened to scroll through IMDB and found SILO, I was immediately intrigued. I see some mixed opinions and I can relate to some of them, here’s my look at the first season.
First of all, I love dystopian literature!
The dystopian genre offers a unique psychological perspective on human nature in hypothetical scenarios. My attachment to the trilogy was strengthened because Hughes managed to develop Orwellian ideas in a hypothetical, relevant to the modern world. Depicting the development of the human psyche in dystopian scenarios is a difficult task. I think Hughes has done a wonderful job, SILO captures most of these aspects in a refreshing way.
The acting is phenomenal for the central characters
This is not an adaptation in the sense that it follows a storyline. It is based on the books, but naturally, it must adapt to the audience in a rapidly changing world. Nevertheless, the series manages to convey the atmosphere of a society living in a bunker. Unlike the superficial storytelling of other shows, “SILO” has a wonderful combination of character development and atmospheric focus.
Naturally, it should be liked by the host audience
The only problem I have with this show is the lack of atmospheric development. They spend a lot of screen time chasing and capturing Juliet. They lack the atmospheric development of a silo as a society. Try it!
